Emergency Food Closet
Shingletown Medical Center's Emergency Food Closet and Resource Center serves as a lifeline for community members facing dire circumstances. It is a place where qualified individuals can obtain assistance with basic necessities, as well as access resources for enrolling in medical insurance and learning about government assistance programs. The closet is stocked with donated non-perishable foods, fresh produce (when available), and hygiene items.
At Shingletown Medical Center, we believe in supporting and empowering our residents through education, support, and assistance. Our Emergency Food Closet is open to all ages, families, seniors, veterans, and low-income individuals in the Shingletown, Manton, and Viola area. Case managers are available to provide guidance and support. Delivery services are available for seniors living in the Shingletown area.
